Paintings Republished for Dr. Trisch - the only woman who hasn't caused me any pain. Click on photos for enlargement.

Working on one of three panels of this oil on canvas mural for my father's law office. This 5'x45' non-titled work was a depiction of western Oklahoma at the time of his youth. As he is now deceased and his law partner will be building a new office in the near future, I suppose this mural will be returned to me. Of course, I would probably enjoy her blue eyes looking back at me  :-] {yet to be painted in this pic, along with the blue waters cooling her feet}.

Strung

Strung into life's unforgiving web of fate.

Pablo

Another oil on canvas, this one depicting Picasso in his own style and subject mater.

Give 'em the Bayonet

Oil on canvas of the First Battle of Bull Run or Manassas, as we called it in the South. This was the first major battle of the long and bloody American Civil War, where Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson got his nickname. Did we learn anything from that tragic war?

Reflection

Oil on canvas - Reflecting on many of the artists who first influenced me. Raphael, Rembrant, DeVinci, a young Salvadore Dali and the first surrealist Heronomus Bosch poking his head up from the floor. Of course I'm at the easel, reaching into the painting.

Carnival of Megiddo

An oil on canvas, surrealistic representation of the last battle.

Badgeman

One second before the fatal shot in Dallas, this oil on canvas actually started an urban legend in New York City.

Outside Nogales

Watercolor

Love and Hate

Love and Hate - two sides of the same coin?

Tourista Sabado

Saturday's Tourist, a fun oil on canvas with many charicatures, from banker to dentist, craftsmen to revolutionaries, bartender to street walker. And yes, that is me leaving the bank with a suspicious satchel.

Chained Lightning

An oil on canvas self-portrait and optical illusion, as the tile works as floor, table and chair.

Painted Sky

The watercolor "Painted Sky". Need I say more?

Monet's Bridge

Oil on canvas "Monet's Bridge", a portrait of the artist and his subject mater, but in my style.

Dusty Roses

Dusty Roses, her and the flowers.

White Corn

"White Corn", an oil on canvas.
